The Brazil-born Italy Under-21 international playmaker is wanted by several clubs, including Liverpool, Fiorentina and Milan.

However, Sky Sport Italia and other sources are confident a deal has been struck between Hellas Verona and Napoli.

Jorginho did not take part in today’s training session with his Verona teammates today, as the club confirmed he had been given the day off.

It’s strongly believed he could have a medical and complete his Napoli move on Saturday.

This also means Jorginho won’t be able to play for Verona in their big trip to Milan on Sunday.

The 22-year-old has scored seven goals and provided four assists in 18 Serie A games this season.

It’s rumoured Napoli have agreed to buy half Jorginho’s contract for €5m and a further €5m for full ownership at the end of the season.
