According to Tuttosport, Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis wants to involve Jorginho in his negotiations with Chelsea counterpart Roman Abramovich.

The Blues’ reluctance to pay Sarri’s €8m release clause before May 31 was followed by the Partenopei refusing to accept a discount for a Coach.

However, the newspaper believes an agreement rests with Jorginho, who had been heavily linked with Manchester City.

It is claimed Chelsea are ready to offer €60m for the Italo-Brazilian – some €10m more than what Manchester City were willing to pay.

In doing that, the Londoners would exceed Sarri’s exit clause – despite it no longer being valid – and let the pair continue working together.
