Jorginho seems certain to join City, with a deal expected to be wrapped-up next week after Italy’s friendly with the Netherlands.

Today’s Gazzetta dello Sport expects a deal worth around €50m, which fits with the €48m plus bonuses reported by The Times.

Sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli will then use that money to pay the €30m release clause for Ruiz, according to the newspaper.

Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid are also thought to be interested, so the Partenopei will pay the whole clause to ensure they get their man.

At the age of just 22 Ruiz represents a good investment for the future, and a five-year contract worth €2m per season is ready for the midfielder.
