Italy international Jorginho was all smiles as he returned to Arsenal to begin pre-season training for the first time on Sunday and made an effort to welcome the club’s latest acquisition on social media.
Arsenal got their off-season training underway on Monday, but Jorginho was granted a few additional days off, having been part of Italy’s Nations League squad for the competition’s finals in June.
On Sunday, however, he was back in North London and was pictured with his trademark grin by Arsenal’s social media team.
Shortly after training was complete for the day, the 31-year-old shared a series of snaps to his Instagram story, including a warm welcome for Arsenal’s most recent signing Kai Havertz, who joined the Gunners from Chelsea at the end of June.
Jorginho and Arsenal will get their Premier League campaign underway on August 12 against Nottingham Forest, but will face off against Manchester City in the Community Shield the weekend prior.
