Italy international Jorginho was so pumped after Chelsea’s Champions League victory, he interviewed his teammate Thiago Silva live on Sky Sport Italia and got a shave on the pitch.

Scenes at the Stadio Do Dragao as Chelsea won the second Champions League in their history. It was the first one for Italy internationals Jorginho and Emerson Palmieri.

“It’s amazing. I was going to quit football and my parents made me continue. Now they are here tonight and I won the Champions League,” Jorginho told Sky Sport Italia.

The former Napoli and Verona playmaker was then offered to interview Thiago Silva live.

“We’ve gone through so many things together this season, I am so happy for both of us,” the Brazilian defender said.

“I want to thank all my friends, I’d like them to be here now,” he added.

Showing some good journalistic skills, Jorginho asked Thiago Silva what are his plans for the future.

“I hope I will stay here,” the former Milan defender replied.

Jorginho seemed not willing to leave the Stadio Do Dragao.

Sky Sport reports almost everybody had left the pitch more than one hour after the award ceremony, but the 29-year-old remained on the pitch and got a shave on the sidelines, perhaps because he had lost a bet.

Surely, he won something more meaningful.
