Jorginho made his 162nd Premier League appearance in Arsenal’s win over Bournemouth, putting him in the top five of Italians to appear in the competition.

The 31-year-old arrived in the English topflight in July 2018 after making a €57m move from Napoli, joining up with then-Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri. He quickly adapted to life in the Premier League and became a regular for the Blues.

During his time in West London, Jorginho made 213 appearances across all competitions, helping Chelsea win the Champions League, the Europa League, the FIFA Club World Cup and the UEFA Super Cup.

In January of this year, the Euro 2020 winner moved across London to Arsenal, becoming a squad player under Mikel Arteta. Since making the jump, he’s appeared in 23 matches, 19 of which came in the Premier League.

Jorginho’s appearance against Bournemouth on the weekend was his 162nd in the Premier League, putting him fifth in the rankings of Italians in the division.

Above him is Benito Carbone with 177, Paolo Di Canio with 190, Angelo Ogbonna with 192, and Gianfranco Zola with 229.
