Jorginho wants to take the Italy midfield reins and his agent admits his Chelsea experience has “gone better than all expectations.”
The Brazil-born former Napoli man was a key figure in recent impressive Azzurri performances.
“He had already been playing well under Giampiero Ventura and now he is doing even better with Roberto Mancini,” agent Joao Santos told Tuttomercatoweb.
“He has everything needed to carry the Nazionale on his shoulders and that is what he is working towards.”

“He does miss Italy, though, and returns whenever he can to see his old friends. He was there for 10 years, after all.”
