Malaga have warned that Jony Rodriguez is not yet a Lazio player, accusing the winger of making ‘a big mistake’.
Jony landed in Rome on Wednesday to seemingly complete a €2.5m transfer to Lazio.
However, Malaga owner Sheikh Abdullah Al Thani suggested the 28-year-old did not have permission to travel as his deal papers had still not been signed off.

“I think Jony made a big mistake because I didn’t sign [off] his contract. [I] hope the player solves this,” Al Thani tweeted.
Nonetheless, Gianluca Di Marzio writes there is ‘absolute tranquillity’ on the Aquile’s part that the player will be signed.
