Nikos Mavromaras, agent of Lille and Canada striker Jonathan David was spotted in Italy on Monday, fuelling speculations of a possible move to Milan or Napoli.

David has been linked with several European clubs, including Milan, Napoli, and Chelsea, and his representative Nikos Mavromaras was spotted in Italy, precisely in Milano, yesterday. The CEO and founder of Axia Sports also shared a picture from the capital of Lombardy on Instagram.

His client David is one of the options Napoli have to replace the departing Victor Osimhen, while Milan see him as an alternative to Joshua Zirkzee. However, according to Calciomercato.com, Mavromaras did not use his trip to Milan to meet the Rossoneri or any other Italian club.

According to the report, Lille’s asking price for David is around €40m.

Football Italia transfer expert Matteo Moretto said in February that the Premier League remains the most likely destination for David as several English clubs are ready to “push hard” to sign the 24-year-old in the summer transfer window.

However, if Chelsea end up signing Osimhen from Napoli, the Partenopei will have enough money to sign David who is among the club’s targets alongside Santiago Gimenez of Feyenoord and Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface.
