Fiorentina’s Joaquin said Serie A “is much more difficult than Spanish football” and was stunned by the post-Juventus celebrations.
“I miss Malaga, but at the same time it was difficult to continue there with the club’s economic problems and I couldn’t turn down a side like Fiorentina,” he told Cadena Ser radio.
“Italian football is much more difficult than Spanish football.”
Joaquin got his first Serie A goal on Sunday when the Viola fought back from 2-0 down to beat old rivals Juventus 4-2.
“It is the most important game for the Fiorentina fans, even more heated than Malaga-Sevilla. The city is still celebrating the victory, something they’d been waiting for over 15 years. You can only imagine the chaos here!”
