The 25-year-old added another year to his current deal and joined in the summer of 2014.
“Over the years, I have learned what Cagliari is, what it means for the Sardinians,” the Brazilian told the official club website.
“Every time I step on to the field, I always try to honour the shirt. I feel confidence around me from the club, the respect of my teammates and affection of the fans.
