New Milan signing Joao Felix admits he ‘pushed hard’ to join the Rossoneri in the winter transfer window and reveals club legend Kaka has ‘always been’ his idol.
Joao Felix joined Milan on loan from Chelsea in the January transfer window.
The Portuguese has already scored one goal in two appearances with the Rossoneri.
He will be unveiled at a press conference in Milanello today at 15:30 local time (14:30 GMT), but Milan have already released some quotes from their official Instagram page.

“I pushed hard to come here. I want to give my all for this club,” the Portuguese said.
“I already knew Conceiçao. His passion is contagious. And winning is essential.
“Kaka has always been my idol. I saw myself in him and tried to imitate him.”
Joao Felix started in Milan’s 2-0 victory against Empoli, playing 84 minutes and making 53 touches.
Joao Felix began the 2024-2025 campaign with Chelsea, scoring one goal in 12 Premier League appearances (nine as a substitute). He also featured in five matches UEFA Conference League matches, two as a substitute, netting four times. He also scored two goals in an FA Cup game before joining Milan.
His loan spell at San Siro ends in June 2025, but Milan will likely try to sign him permanently if he continues to impress.
