Benfica insist Juventus target Joao Felix will not be leaving the club this summer, amidst reports they want to bump up his €120m release clause.

Juve are reportedly working on a deal to bring in Felix, but Benfica’s President suggested the only way his prized asset would only leave was if his clause was met.

“Our club will do everything to keep their jewels,” Luis Filipe Vieira was quoted as saying by Corriere dello Sport.

“Our club will do everything to keep their jewels,” Luis Filipe Vieira was quoted as saying by Corriere dello Sport.

“What I want to guarantee to the fans is that no-one will leave. We don’t want to please anyone or part with our best talents.”

Reports earlier this week claimed the Portuguese side were ready to increase the attacker’s release clause to €200m.
