The January transfer window in Serie A shuts at 19.00 UK time so Football Italia takes a look at the last deals that will be completed in Italy today.

You can follow today’s updates live on the transfer live blog here.

Juventus have been one of the busiest clubs over the winter transfer window and will announce two more signings today. One is Denis Zakaria from Borussia Monchengladbach and one is Federico Gatti from Frosinone.

The latter will remain on loan at his club until the end of the season, while Zakaria will join Juventus straight away.

The Old Lady has also sent Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski to Tottenham Hotspur on loan with an option to buy.

Juventus also hope to strike a deal for Cagliari‘s Nahitan Nandez, but the Sardinians want a €3m loan with an obligation to buy for €15m if the Old Lady qualifies for the Champions League.

The Serie A giants, on the other hand, would sign Nandez on loan with an option to buy, including Kaio Jorge and Filippo Ranocchia in the deal.

Juventus will also try to sell Aaron Ramsey and according to the latest reports in Italy, Wolves are interested in securing the player’s services.

Atalanta will announce Valentin Mihaila from Parma on loan with an option to buy, so Lazio hope to sign Aleksey Miranchuk from La Dea with the same formula.

The Biancocelesti are also in talks with Hellas Verona for Nicolò Casale, although the Gialloblu are unwilling to sell in January.

Serie A strugglers Venezia are interested in Roma‘s Amadou Diawara, who saw his move to Valencia collapse.

Sampdoria will try to bring Gregoire Defrel to Marassi from Sassuolo while the Neroverdi are negotiating with Serie B side Pisa for Lorenzo Lucca who could replace Gianluca Scamacca next season.

Salernitana could get Mikael Filipe Viana from Sport Club do Recife. The 22-year-old striker would be their tenth signing in the January transfer window.

  1. Why is Juve trying to offload Kaio Jorge already? Poor kid snubbed Milan just to join them and now he is just another bargaining chip for the Old Lady.

Had he chosen Milan, he would probably be getting healthy amount of minutes in Serie A already.. Oh well.
