Udinese have taken Jakub Jankto off the market for the January transfer window, disappointing Milan, Juventus, Arsenal and Everton.

The Czech international turns 22 later this month and has been a sensation at the Dacia Arena, contributing five goals and six assists this season in 21 competitive games.

His price-tag is considered to be €25m and Udinese were in talks with Milan for a January exit.

However, according to Sky Sport Italia, the Friulani pulled the plug and will not let Jankto leave before the summer.

They believe a bidding war can escalate even further come the end of the season and want to make a healthy profit on the midfielder.

 

Either way, it’ll be a large boost, because Udinese paid just €0.7m to let him join their youth academy in 2014.
