Jacobs finished 0.04 seconds ahead of Fred Kerley from USA, with Andre De Grasse picking up the bronze medal for Canada.
Giorgio Chiellini’s tug on Bukayo Saka in the EURO 2020 Final at Wembley this summer went viral, and the memes keep coming still, this time in the Tokyo games after Jacobs became the first Italian man to win an Olympic gold medal at 100m.
