It’d mark the end of a dismal time in the Giallorossi jersey since he was bought from Hellas Verona for €24.5m in 2014.
Iturbe had loan spells at Bournemouth and Torino, but never made enough of an impression to be bought outright.
He has been linked with numerous clubs over this summer, including Besiktas, Monterrey, Malaga, Leganes and Celta Vigo.
Iturbe only turned 24 in June.
