Juventus fans are furious after seeing a late Arek Milik winner disallowed by VAR, leading to three four cards and a 2-2 draw at the Allianz Stadium: ‘It’s ruining football!’
Juventus recovered from two goals down and almost won it in Turin, but VAR disallowed a late Milik goal for LeonardoBonucci’s offside.
The Italian defender was slightly beyond Salernitana‘s last man, so Milik didn’t only see his goal disallowed but was also sent off, collecting a second yellow card for taking off his shirt during celebrations.
Max Allegri and Juan Cuadrado also saw red due to dissent and the same is true of Salernitana’s Federico Fazio.
Most Juventus fans on social media are furious with VAR and believe the decision was wrong as Bonucci was beyond a Salernitana defender but didn’t interfere with play, nor did he stand in front of Luigi Sepe.
