Fiorentina ultras unveiled several banners outside the Stadio Artemio Franchi last night, threatening and insulting Dusan Vlahovic ahead of his possible move to Juventus: ‘It’s over for you.’
The 21-year-old is on the verge of joining the Old Lady, who, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, has already reach an agreement with the Serbian striker.
According to multiple reports in Italy, Juventus are close to signing the striker as talks with La Viola are ongoing and are close to being finalised.
The rivalry between Juventus and Fiorentina is well known, so La Viola’s fans are definitely not impressed with Vlahovic’s decision to move to Turin.
Last night, a group of ultras unveiled several banners outside the Stadio Franchi, threatening and insulting the 21-year-old.
One reads: “Goals are not enough to earn respect. Vlahovic f****** Gobbo,’ while another one says: ‘Vlahovic f****** gipsy.’
There is also a third one which is quite threatening: ‘You guards won’t save your life, it’s over for you, gipsy.’
I am really sorry for there banners, I would expect better from the people of Florence. Those racist slogans do not belong here
Great move to undermine the bargaining position of the owners.
Players have the rights to move especially if they are in a small team and wants to move to bigger team like Juventus, Inter, Roma, Milan or abroad.

Isn’t Arsenal willing to pay more? I don’t know why Vlahovic is hell bent in joining Juve though, is he a boyhood fan of Juventus and aiming to be the ‘one’ bringing back the glory days for Juve? I meant if he was forcing to move to Juve 4-5 years ago when Juve was still undisputedly on top, or to play alongside CR then I might probably understand it. But why now? Is this the curse for every best Viola player, wanting to join their bitterest rival?

Safe to say I’m doubling down on what the Violas are doing.
