Italy international Destiny Udogie is one of eight nominees for the Premier League Young Player of the Season award thanks to his performances at Tottenham Hotspur.
The former Udinese wing-back made the transfer to Spurs last summer for €18m plus up to another €7m in performance-related bonuses.
He made 30 competitive appearances, 28 of them in the Premier League, contributing two goals and three assists from left-back.
Udogie’s season was cut short by surgery on a thigh injury.

Now the 21-year-old has been named as one of eight candidates for the Premier League Young Player of the Season award.
The fans can vote until May 13 and Udogie is up against Phil Foden, Erling Haaland, Alexander Isak, Kobbie Mainoo, Cole Palmer, Bukayo Saba and William Saliba.
The Premier League site notes that along with contributing directly to five goals, Udogie also created 24 chances and made 68 tackles in his debut season.
This award is open to players who are under 23 years of age.
