Players including Destiny Udogie, Alessandro Zanoli, Nicolò Fagioli, Sebastiano Esposito and Pietro Pellegri are in the Italy Under-21 squad for the final European Championship qualifiers.

The Azzurrini are coached by Paolo Nicolato and currently sit at the top of Group F on 17 points, with a three-point advantage over Sweden.

The final three matches of the qualifying campaign are against Luxembourg on June 6 in Differdange at 17.00 UK time (16.00 GMT), Sweden on June 9 in Helsingborg at 17.00 UK time (16.00 GMT) and the Republic of Ireland in Ascoli on June 14 at 16.30 UK time (15.30 GMT).

This represents the first call-up for Napoli defender Zanoli, who can play as a right-back or a centre-back.
