On Friday evening, Italy will host North Macedonia in their penultimate game of Euro 2024 qualifying at the Stadio Olimpico, a stadium where the national team have not lost in over a decade.

The last time that the Azzurri lost in Rome dates back to August 2013, in a 2-1 friendly loss to Argentina.

Italy have played more games at the Stadio Olimpico than in any other current stadium. The Nazionale have been involved in 53 internationals in the capital since 1953, returning a record of 38 victories, 18 draws and seven losses.

Since 2015, Italy have picked up five wins and one draw at the Olimpico, with the stalemate coming against Switzerland in the World Cup qualifiers in 2021.

This will be the first time in their history that North Macedonia have played an international fixture at the Stadio Olimpico.

Kick-off is scheduled for 19.45 GMT on Friday evening.
