Italy U21 coach Paolo Nicolato has named his 23-man squad for the knockout stages of the U21 European Championship.

The Azzurrini will face Portugal in the quarter-finals on Monday, May 31.

Both Gianluca Scamacca and Giacomo Raspadori have been included in the team. The latter will presumably miss EURO 2020 with the senior team despite having received a call-up to the provisional squad.

Italy U21 will begin their training retreat this coming Wednesday in Tirrenia. They will then fly to Ljubljana on Saturday and play against Portugal on Monday.

The semi-finals are scheduled in Maribor on June 3, while the Final will be played in Ljubljana on June 6.
