A new advert starring Roberto Mancini and several Italy stars from UEFA EURO 2020 concludes with a joke about their Final win over England.

Coach Mancini is the testimonial for Poste Italiane, the Italian Post Office, and has featured in quite a few of their ads.

The Azzurri boss then answers the door to see he is being visited by players including Leonardo Bonucci, Jorginho and Manuel Locatelli.

Bonucci turns to Chelsea midfielder Jorginho, who is holding a package, and asks what he brought.

“Zuppa Inglese,” is Jorginho’s reply.

That is the Italian name for trifle, but it also translates literally as English Soup.

  1. I have seen it many times on RAI. It is an ice-cream choice. It is funny and by the way it is nothing compared to what the English would have said had they won. What should we say about the English papers before the game stating all kinds of things and that song that was sang over and over again. Conclusion, no offence should be taken.

  2. So this is how they spent the September International Break?
    Filming a commercial?

No wonder that in 2 of the 3 matches it ended in a Draw.

All hands on deck next month.
