Italy set up Rep Ireland friendly

Italy will play the Republic of Ireland in an international friendly on Tuesday 7 June, the FIGC have confirmed.

The encounter will take place in the Belgium city of Liege and will kick off at 20.45 local time.

Cesare Prandelli's Italy are also in action on Friday 3 June when they take on Estonia, in Modena, for a Euro 2012 qualifier.

The Republic or Ireland are bossed by legendary Italian tactician Giovanni Trapattoni.
