Italy have qualified for the Under-19 European Championship semi-finals and consequently also the Under-20 World Cup.
The Azzurrini won both their games in the Under-19 tournament so far, beating Romania 2-1 and hosts Slovakia 1-0.
Because France also have a 100 per cent record after two matches, it means both they and Italy have already guaranteed the two top spots in the group.
That means they will go into the semi-finals of the Under-19 European Championship.
They are also consequently both qualified for the Under-20 World Cup, which will be played in 2023 and hosted by Indonesia.
France and Italy go head-to-head for first place on Friday June 24, kicking off at 16.30 UK time (15.30 GMT).

Well done ! Forza Azzurri!
Congrats. At least the juniors are at a world cup 🙂
France beat Slovakia 5-0 and Romania 2-1.
While I’m pleased that we qualified, our youth are hindered with the goal finishing problems plaguing our senior Nazionale.
Does not help that DC Zurich denied releasing Gnonto to play for the U-19 in this tournament.
Forza Azzurri.
