FIFA have released the latest World Rankings and revealed that Italy have moved up a place after a first month under Antonio Conte.

The Azzurri began life with the 45-year-old in September with a friendly win over the Netherlands in Bari and a Euro 2016 qualifying win over Norway in Oslo.

The impact has been positive in this month’s FIFA World Rankings, lifting the country up one place, swapping positions with Claudio Ranieri’s Greece.

Conte’s two-year contract as CT includes a bonus clause that will kick in if he can improve Italy’s World Ranking by five places.

World champions Germany remain in top spot, followed by Argentina, whilst Colombia have taken third spot this month ahead of the Netherlands.
