Italy have moved up one place to 14th in the updated FIFA rankings, leapfrogging the Netherlands.

The Azzurrri have moved up one position ahead of the Oranje, who failed to qualify for this summer’s European Championships.

Two of Italy’s Group E rivals have also improved their ranking, with Ireland moving up one spot to 29th and Sweden jumping up a place to 34th.

It would be impossible for the Azzurri’s other group rival, Belgium, to improve their ranking as they currently occupy the number one spot.
