Italy had their final training session at Coverciano, as Roberto Mancini and Leonardo Bonucci prepare for the UEFA EURO 2020 Final against England, with Leonardo Spinazzola in the stands.
It kicks off on Sunday at 20.00 UK time at Wembley Stadium.
Curiously, a few hours earlier and just 15 miles down the road in West London, Matteo Berrettini will also become the first Italian ever to play the Wimbledon final against Novak Djokovic.
If he wins, he might want to rush down to Wembley to attend Italy’s EURO 2020 Final against England, which sees the Azzurri try to win the trophy they only once captured in 1968.
Roberto Mancini spoke to the media today, as did defender Bonucci, and no changes are expected from the side that beat Spain on penalties in the semi-final.
The squad is due to fly out on Saturday morning, so this was the final training session at their Coverciano camp.
Leonardo Spinazzola cannot play after surgery on a torn Achilles tendon, but the Roma left-back will be at Wembley with his teammates and pledged to celebrate by hopping on one leg if they take the trophy.
Fabrizio Ravanelli hopes the Azzurri will be able to enjoy the evening, as he continues to raise concerns over the officiating at the tournament.
