“I am very happy,” the former Juventus” data-scaytid=”5″>Juventus tactician told the ANSA news agency.
He will be put in place on Monday during the planned Federation meeting and likely hold a Press conference on Tuesday at 10.30 UK time (09.30 GMT).
The contract will run until July 31 2016 and reportedly include €2m a year plus bonuses, while it was confirmed sponsors will help pay wages in exchange for using Conte as a testimonial.
Conte’s first game in charge will be an international friendly against World Cup semi-finalists Holland on September 4.
It will be hosted by the Stadio San Nicola in Bari – a special venue for Conte, as he is a former Coach of club side Bari and hails from nearby Lecce.
