Leonardo Bonucci and the FIGC are preparing a video tribute for Italy captain Giorgio Chiellini ahead of his final match for the national side.

Chiellini will earn his 117th and final cap when the Azzurri face Argentina at the English national stadium on June 1 in a meeting of the Euro 2020 and Copa America winners.

Club and international team-mate Bonucci has collaborated with the Italian FA to commemorate the Tuscan’s final outing with a tribute video entitled “Giorgio and the Blue,” which will be available on the FIGC’s YouTube channel.

The video will document Chiellini’s rise from Euro under-19 victory in 2003 to winning the Euros with the senior side last summer.

On top of that, there will be various commentaries and anecdotes from his time with the national team, such as the first time he wore his now famous head bandage to cover a cut – which took place at the opening of Wembley stadium in 2001, while representing Italy’s U21s.
