Italy announced friendly games against Turkey in Bologna on June 4, then will host Bosnia and Herzegovina in Empoli on June 8.
These are the final test matches in the build-up to the EURO 2024 tournament in Germany, which will see the Azzurri in the group phase with Albania, Spain and Croatia.
The FIGC confirmed the venue for the match with Vincenzo Montella’s Turkey on Tuesday June 4 will be the Stadio Dall’Ara in Bologna.
It was also organised to celebrate the fact that Italy and Turkey will be sharing hosting duties for the EURO 2032 tournament.
Spalletti must then name his final 23-man squad for EURO 2024 campaign by June 7.
Another friendly is scheduled against Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Stadio Castellani in Empoli on Saturday June 8.
This stadium was chosen because it is where Spalletti effectively started his coaching career at Empoli, taking them to promotion from Serie C to the top flight in 1997-98.
The only previous senior Italy match in Empoli was the 8-0 friendly win over San Marino in May 2017.
