Italy ran Switzerland ragged in their second Euro 2020 game, sealing another convincing 3-0 win. Check out Football Italia’s player ratings.

Donnarumma 7 – Had a quiet evening but reacted well when called upon with a fine double save in the second half.

Di Lorenzo 6.5 – The Napoli full-back continued to fill in for Alessandro Florenzi and played the full 90 minutes, covered Berardi well but lacked a bit of quality going forward.

Chiellini 7 – Only played 25 minutes but controlled everything at the back and was involved going forward too. Had a goal ruled out for handball before he suffered a thigh injury five minutes later. (Acerbi 6.5 – Did well after replacing the captain, as Italy kept their composure in defence throughout the game.)

Bonucci 7.5 – Stepped up after Chiellini went off injured and took over the responsibility at the back. His overview helps Italy play out from the back once more.

Spinazzola 7.5 – The Roma full-back continues to impress in Euro 2020 and showed great energy, constantly going forward, overlapping Insigne to provide an additional threat at left.

Barella 7 – Works as hard as always, giving Jorginho and Locatelli space to run the midfield battle. (Cristante N/A)

Jorginho 7 – Quality performance from the Brazilian-born midfielder, tying up the midfield trident, directing the pace of Italy’s game.

Locatelli 9 – An absolute performance from the Sassuolo midfielder. Opened up Switzerland with his passing and bagged the first Italy brace in the Euros since 2012. (Pessina N/A)

Berardi 8 – The Sassuolo forward had acres of space at right and used it in the best possible way when he set up Manuel Locatelli for the opening goal. (Toloi N/A)

Immobile 8 – Ciro’s eternal hunt for goals continued against Switzerland and the Lazio forward was a constant threat for the whole game. In the 89th minute he was rewarded, two goals in two games.

Insigne 7 – The left-winger was heavily involved in the first half but struggled with the end product. Still a threat, but not as devastating as in the first game. (Chiesa 6.5 – Eager to help Italy create more opportunities with great pace and determination, sent Immobile through on goal with a beautifully weighted pass.)
