On Saturday, the Aquilotti host the Granata at the Stadio Alberto Picco, and Italiano has called up Nzola for the relegation battle.

The attacker is back in the squad for the first time since the 1-1 draw with Hellas Verona on May 1, as he first sat out against Napoli due to suspension but was then left out of the 2-2 draw with Sampdoria for disciplinary reasons.

“Things happen even in the best families,” Italiano said at a press conference. “He worked with his teammates and tomorrow he will be in the squad that will take part in the match.

“We fight for safety passes through the feet, the heart and the head of every single player.”

Nzola has played 23 Serie A games this term and the 23-year-old has contributed nine goals in the process.
