Spezia coach Vincenzo Italiano said the draw with Serie A leaders Inter boosted the Aquilotti ahead of an important month in the relegation battle.
After a prestigious draw against League leaders Inter, the Aquilotti prepare for the match in the relegation battle against Genoa.
The coach was happy to see his men respond with a 1-1 result against the Nerazzurri and ‘redeem’ the 4-1 defeat to Bologna.
“The main problem for us was to redeem the non-positive test in Bologna,” Italiano said at a press conference.

“The main problem for us was to redeem the non-positive test in Bologna,” Italiano said at a press conference.
“We wanted to do it immediately to face the last month with a certain kind of mentality. To resume the way we did with Inter was not easy.
“Even through a sacrificial performance and where we also had to defend ourselves. I always say that when we are called into question in this respect, we must do it well and I think we deserved a point in the end.
“It left us with great awareness for this last month, that we must always try.”
Spezia sit 15th in Serie A with 33 points from 32 games, five points above Cagliari at 18th in the table.
