Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano is happy with how his side reacted to the defeat against Inter, but concedes La Viola still needs to improve.

The Tuscans secured their fourth win in six games beating Udinese 1-0 at the Dacia Arena.

“I am satisfied with the three points as well as the performance in the first half,” Italiano told DAZN.

Serie A Highlights: Udinese 0-1 Fiorentina

“We suffered in the second half, but in Serie A it is always like this. We have played six games and we must correct our defects.

We almost never had a wrong approach, we had a great start. We struggle a little bit when the opponents press high up the pitch and so we introduced a defender to handle their pressure, we need to improve in this.

We should have made the most of the chances we had, during the next games, we must adapt more to what happens during the game.”
