Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano says La Viola needs the right mentality against Lazio and admits ‘everybody tried to steal something’ from Maurizio Sarri’s Napoli.

Tomorrow, the Tuscans visit the Biancocelesti on the back of a 3-0 win over Cagliari.

“It’s a complicated match against a tough opponent. We need the right mentality at the Olimpico,” Italiano said at a pre-match press conference.

“We need to approach the match as we did with Cagliari, positively from the offset. We want consistency. All players need to be ready. We want to use all the squad, everyone.”

Fiorentina return to the Olimpico, where they lost the first game of the season against Roma.

“We have reacted after two defeats and we are improving mentally,” said Italiano.

“Everybody remembers Maurizio Sarri’s Napoli, he has brought ideas and identity everywhere he’s gone and everybody tried to steal something from his Napoli side. I’ve watched many Lazio games this season and it won’t be an easy game even if they lost against Verona.”
