La Gazzetta dello Sport and Tuttosport claim Juventus are not considering sacking Massimiliano Allegri, but the Turin-based paper mentions five potential replacements for the Livorno-born coach, including Igor Tudor and Antonio Conte.

Juventus have been eliminated from the Coppa Italia semi-finals and fans appear increasingly frustrated with results and playing style under Allegri. The 55-year-old has two years left in his contract in Turin and according to Gazzetta and Tuttosport, his job is not at risk.

Both papers claim Juventus are not considering sacking him and see him as the perfect coach for the long-term future of the club.

The Italian tactician has been increasingly frustrated lately with outbursts after games against Napoli and Inter. However, the club wants to put him in the ‘best condition to work,’ claim Gazzetta.

Nevertheless, Tuttosport also reports that if another club pounce on Allegri in the summer or the Italian tactician leaves at the end of the season, then the Bianconeri would choose his replacement among five high-profile targets.

Igor Tudor, a former Juventus defender and assistant of Andrea Pirlo now in charge of Olympique Marseille, is being closely monitored by the club. The same is true of the ‘experienced’ Gian Piero Gasperini, the ‘expensive’ Antonio Conte, the ‘ambitious’ Zizou Zidane and Roberto De Zerbi, who has a €13m clause included in his contract with Brighton.
