Multiple reports claim Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri will remain in charge until the end of the season, leaving the Old Lady in the summer.
Allegri has a year left in his contract at the Allianz Stadium, but recent poor results have thrown his future into doubt.
Will Juventus sack Allegri?
Even if the leading Italian media, including Tuttosport and Gazzetta, confirm Juventus are not considering sacking the coach in the middle of the season, many sources suggest the Bianconeri and Max will split in the summer.
Juventus expert Romeo Agresti notes that the ‘countdown’ towards Allegri’s farewell has begun even if the Italian tactician is not Juventus’ only problem.
Calciomercato.com adds that Juventus director Giuntoli has long considered a different coach. Furthermore, the Serie A giants’ recent poor results confirm that they need a fresh start in 2024-25.
However, the cost for Allegri and his staff is €20m gross so Juventus must sit down with their coach to figure out the next steps and a potential financial agreement if they decide to part ways.
Officially, Giuntoli has reiterated that Juventus rely on Allegri and want to continue with him beyond the summer.
