Hellas Verona, Parma and Sampdoria have reportedly targeted Roma defender Federico Fazio.

The 34-year-old only played six times in Serie A and seems set to leave the Giallorossi one year before his contract expires.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports the Argentine seems set for a move already this summer and has attracted interest from other Serie A clubs.

Hellas Verona and Sampdoria finished in the top half of the table in 2020-21 and are both looking to reinforce their position in the top flight.

Fazio has emerged as a target for the two Serie A clubs, but they could face competition from Parma, who were relegated to Serie B.

The Ducali are hoping to bounce back immediately and seem close to reaching an agreement with Gianluigi Buffon, who could return after his deal with Juventus expires.

Fazio moved to Rome from Tottenham Hotspur in July 2017 for a reported €3.2m and has only one year left on his current deal with La Lupa.
