Alberto Aquilani has 'four or five very interesting offers' from teams in Italy and abroad after terminating his contract with Fiorentina.

The former Viola midfielder is now a free agent and his representative Andrea D'Amico confirmed that he has a choice of options for his future.

“There are four, five offers at the moment that are very interesting,” he told Calciomercato.it.

“They come from Italy and from abroad, and we're evaluating them carefully.

“The lad, rightly so, wants to take the time necessary to think on it.

“But there is certainly no one solution that is preferred to any other.

“He could continue his adventure in Italy, or he could choose to face a new experience in a foreign league.”

The 31-year-old has been accosted to Verona and to his former team Roma in Serie A, and to Montreal Impact and Olympique Marseilles abroad.
