FC Midtjylland winger Gustav Isaksen has arrived to undergo his medicals with Lazio at the Paideia clinic in Rome.
The 22-year-old Dane is set to become the Biancocelesti’s third signing of the summer transfer window following striker Valentin Castellanos and midfielder Daichi Kamada.
Lazio sold star midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to Al-Hilal last month for €42m and are expected to pick up a few more reinforcements before the start of the 2023-24 season.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Isaksen landed in the Italian capital last night, where he was greeted by around 200 cheering Lazio supporters. This morning, he started his pre-transfer medicals at the Paideia clinic in Rome.
The 22-year-old is joining the Biancocelesti in a deal reportedly worth around €10-12m plus add-ons, with a future resale clause attached. His four-year contract, with an option for a fifth, is understood to be worth around €1.5m net per season.
Last season, Isaksen scored 22 goals and provided nine assists in 45 appearances across all competitions.
