Pressure mounts on Simone Inzaghi following Inter‘s loss against Bayern Munich, their third defeat in the last four games across all competitions.

The Nerazzurri lost 2-0 at home against the Bundesliga giants last night in the opening clash of Champions League Group C.

It was their third defeat from the last four games across all competitions, but most importantly, the third defeat from three big games against Lazio, Milan and Bayern.

The hashtag #InzaghiOut is trending on Twitter in Italy this morning, with over 3,000 posts about the matter. Inter fans booed their players after last night’s match at San Siro.

Most fans complain that the coach doesn’t have a clear tactical plan and that players look lost and not focused, especially in big games. Some fear that the ‘Conte effect’ is over.

Inzaghi extended his contract with Inter in the summer until 2024 after winning the Coppa Italia and the Italian Supercup in his first year at the club. However, Inter failed to retain the Serie A title seeing their city rivals Milan win their first Scudetto in 11 years.

  1. What will Lukaku do when Inzaghi is replaced by Tuchel?!? I don’t think Inter can afford to sack the manager, so they won’t.

  2. I don’t blame Inzaghi entirely. The owners gave him hardly anything to work with these past few transfer markets. They should definitely bring back Sensi early from Monza as midfield is department that Inter are lacking in. The middle 5 should’ve been made up of Dimarco, Casadei, Sensi, Barella, Bellanova. Calahanoglu and Mhikitarayan are useless.

  3. The smart coach should use the formation that suits the players at his disposal
It’s non sense to keep playing with 3-5-2 system
The team has been weaken since the departure of Hakimi, Persic, Sensi, Vidal and Alexis
We should’ve brought a high caliber replacement not a half solutions
I hope we get an Italian coach with charisma who could give our team the spirit and identity
    Inzaghi is helpless
Conte effect is over and here is the reality of Inzaghi!
