Inter coach Simone Inzaghi was reportedly approached with a massive offer worth €20m plus bonuses per year to work with Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr.

According to Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà, the proposal was eye-wateringly lucrative to take the next step of his career in the Saudi Pro League.

However, it was quickly rejected, because Inzaghi is down to the details of a new contract extension to remain at San Siro until June 2026.

Inzaghi committed to Inter

The former Lazio boss is expected to earn €6.5m per season at Inter, which would make him one of the highest-paid coaches in Serie A, but it’s barely over a quarter of what he’d pick up at Al-Nassr.

Fresh off winning his first Serie A title and eager to go one better than the 2023 Champions League Final, the Italian has no intention of leaving the Nerazzurri.

Cristiano Ronaldo is not the only star name at Al-Nassr, as they also have former Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, who already worked with Inzaghi at San Siro.
