Pippo Inzaghi has yet more injury problems as Milan get ready to host Udinese and Fernando Torres “hasn’t forgotten how to score.”

“Mattia De Sciglio cannot even pull on a football boot at the moment due to a strain in the sole. If he can’t do it today either, then he won’t take part tomorrow,” said the Coach in a Press conference.

“I hope Nigel de Jong will be back next week. Alex and Ignazio Abate are out too, while De Sciglio has that problem. Muntari is not doing well either.

“It is a difficult moment, but those who haven’t played as much will get their chance. Rami sacrificed himself at right-back on Sunday and if needed he can play there again, otherwise he will remain in the centre of defence.”

The Rossoneri are fresh from a 1-1 draw with rivals Inter and again wasted far too many scoring opportunities, especially with Torres and Stephan El Shaarawy.

“I spoke to Torres and he told me the ankle has improved. He just needs to find his confidence again. It’s down to me to get him back in shape and I will try. He hasn’t just forgotten how to score goals or be a centre-forward, as he is a great champion. I must do everything to get the best out of him.”

Udinese have the evergreen Antonio Di Natale leading the way after his 200th Serie A goal in 400 games, while Coach Andrea Stramaccioni was on the Inter bench.

“We really care about this match and it’s time we added these three points to the table,” continued Inzaghi.

“I really admire Stramaccioni, as he is well-prepared and we are friends. I am pleased if Stramaccioni’s Udinese do well, but not for this weekend! I am also friends with Di Natale and compliment him on his 200th goal. He’s world class not just as a player, but as a man.

“Those who get angry at a lack of playing time at Milan actually make it into a positive emotion, the kind that motivates you to do better. That’s what it was like for me as a player and I promised I’ll never lie to them.”
