The Gazzetta dello Sport believe that Pippo Inzaghi will treat Mario Balotelli the same as every other player at Milan.

Attention has focused on Balotelli’s relationship with his Coaches during his playing career, with his 18 months in the Rossonero half of San Siro proving no different.

Clarence Seedorf reportedly opted for a gentle approach to managing the 23-year-old, offering incentive and freedom to the forward away from the pitch, in the reported belief it would yield results on the pitch.

Clarence Seedorf reportedly opted for a gentle approach to managing the 23-year-old, offering incentive and freedom to the forward away from the pitch, in the reported belief it would yield results on the pitch.

However, following struggles for form and criticism from the media, Balotelli is reportedly facing a different managerial approach from Seedorf’s successor.

The Gazzetta dello Sport report today that Inzaghi is looking to ‘normalise’ the striker by treating him in exactly the same way as any other player within the squad.

Inzaghi is seen as ready to try this approach to better relax the player and also make clear that whilst he is still central to the team’s project, not everything will revolve around him.
