Pippo Inzaghi is being speculated as ready to change formation at Milan to handle the club’s growing list of injuries.

Also in an attempt to ‘make the most of the team’s attacking potential’, the 41-year-old is rumoured by the Gazzetta dello Sport as ready to move from a 4-3-3 shape to a 4-2-3-1.

The Rossoneri have recently lost Riccardo Saponara and Marco van Ginkel to month-long injuries, added to captain Riccardo Montolivo’s continued absence in his recovery from a broken leg.

For the dearth of options in the middle of the park and the contrasting long list of attacking options available, Inzaghi is reported by the Gazzetta as ready to move formations.

Changing shape is also the topic of discussion in the Corriere della Sera, who suggest Inzaghi’s latest tactical plans are closer to a 4-4-2 system and that intentions are more based around finding greater balance to the team, than anything else.

The Coach currently has available to him Andrea Poli, Sulley Muntari and Nigel de Jong for the centre of the park.
