Simone Inzaghi

Inter’s injury crisis continues as Stefan de Vrij, Andrea Ranocchia and Matteo Darmian are not expected to recover for the match against Roma.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will have little options in defence when the Nerazzurri face José Mourinho’s Roma at the Stadio Olimpico tomorrow.

“We are still without Ranocchia and Darmian, De Vrij and Kolarov don’t have many chances, I think they’ll be available against Real Madrid or Cagliari,” Inzaghi said.

Inzaghi acknowledges Mourinho’s importance for Inter

“Bastoni hasn’t got fever anymore but hasn’t trained with us yet. Some players picked up knocks here and there, so I’ll have to evaluate them.

“It’s not easy to play every three days, there should be more attention to the fixture list, by putting together international games in a single period. Us coaches need to adapt and we are doing it.”

Darmian and Ranocchia picked up injuries earlier this week and are expected to remain out of action for 15-20 days.

De Vrij sustained a muscle injury while on international duty with the Netherlands and has missed Inter’s last four games against Napoli, Shakhtar Donetsk, Venezia and Spezia.

  1. What a great addition Inzaghi’s brother is to our ambitions. A great symbol for us chokers.

  2. De Vrij missing in last four mentioned games.

Inter Milano won all four games.

AC Milan know they are at best for UCL qualification.

Sympathetic seeing Napoli ultimately as usual play runners up to a better and much more balanced team.

    FORZA INTER MILANO.

  3. @solo inter… you okay? He have done a great job with all our financial problems, so what the hell!

  4. @ I MISS JUVE IN SERIE B he’s a troll and a bit obsessed about Inter in general.Lol Inter are doing well considering other clubs are dropping points on a weekly basis. Injuries for the defence happened when Inter already qualified in the CL and facing lower opposition. It’s funny that even tho Inter spend most of the season so far being in the top 3 but the teams that are more under pressure are the ones who are top. Again the guy is a troll and somewhat obsessed with Inter.
