Inzaghi planning Inter changes against Empoli

Inter’s Champions League draw against Real Sociedad has pushed Simone Inzaghi to consider changes to his squad for the clash with Empoli.

The Nerazzurri failed to show their best on a difficult Wednesday night in Spain, managing to escape with a point after a late Lautaro Martinez equaliser.

Inter have shined domestically in the early stages of this season and are hoping to keep the top spot as the title race starts to take shape, making every game key in the first few months of the campaign.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport via TMW, Inzaghi is planning to give his first start to Davide Frattesi, who scored a goal in the derby and provided the assist to Lautaro in his last two appearances off the bench.

Marko Arnautovic will return to the bench and will be joined by talismanic striker Lautaro. In their place, Inzaghi will start Marcus Thuram and Alexis Sanchez up front.
