Simone Inzaghi insists the tactical adjustments for Lazio in their win over Cagliari was not as important as the “interpretation.”

The Aquile ended their seven-game winless streak in all competition with a 3-1 result.

“We did well and approached the game with the right attitude,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“We would’ve deserved a few more goals, but we’ll enjoy this victory, that has been absent for too long, then can start preparing for Bologna.”

Inzaghi used Joaquin Correa and Luis Alberto as support for Ciro Immobile, although he stopped short of the proposed 4-3-2-1 formation, keeping three at the back.

“The system change was only a small part of it, as I think the interpretation of the game was more important. The lads took the right spirit and immediately made Cagliari feel on edge.

“Luis Alberto and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic both had cramp, nothing serious, but I preferred not to risk keeping them on.”
